If we’re in an knowledge economy then what ideas we use and how we use them to create value becomes increasingly important. Philosophers are equipped to evaluate ideas and therefore have a huge service to offer a knowledge economy.
Scrape my book marks and 3d position them in a dynamic relationship based display. I want to just jump to bookmarks and have it be easy to find stuff and see what relates to what.
I also want some kind of rating system for bookmarks that works something like kayak.com’s flight departure / arrival tool. When you slide the bar things that get used often should float to the top.
Then you should be able to have groups of bookmarks and web history for sharing research with project teams too.
I don’t know about you but I know I don’t ever change the channel or consider changing the channel on my car radio because I see a billboard for a particular radio station. Opps, I just thought of an exception — when I am traveling I do. But I can’t imagine that makes up for the costs.
Is the money being spent on billboards for radio worth it? Interstate billboards can cost in the range of $1000 and $5000 or more a month depending on traffic. Is there a better way? What function is this serving? It must, or they would quit doing it. Is it functional at all?
I never listen to KQRS but I see the billboards often. Still don’t listen and don’t plan too.
